ECITB (Engineering Construction Industry Training Board) "Confined Space Attendant/Hole Watcher" course aims to improve knowledge, skills and attitudes of confined space attendants to help them operate in a safer and more responsible manner.
Key Points of the Course:
Course Objective:
- To identify hazards that may be faced during entry, including signs and symptoms and their behavioral effects.
- To monitor activities inside and outside the confined space and determine if it is safe to remain inside the space.
- To detect a prohibited condition and summon rescue team when required.
- To perform non-entry rescue as specified by the employer's rescue procedure
- To perform and implement safe working procedure and implement permit to work requirements.
